Zojirushi BB-PDC20BA vs Zojirushi BB-CEC20 Review: Pros & Cons
Today, we can bake fresh bread without buying it from the store. We only need a breadmaker to do that. Luckily, there are many of them available on the market.
This time, we have tried two breadmakers from Zojirushi. So, here is the review of Zojirushi BB-PDC20BA vs Zojirushi BB-CEC20.
Zojirushi BB-PDC20BA Review
Zojirushi adds dual heaters to this product to create a similar effect to baking bread in an oven. It can bake thoroughly and creates a browning effect. Thus, it provides the result like a standard bread-baking method.
For kneading the dough, it has two kneading blades on the bottom of its dough plate. The double blade spins and mixes the dough to ensure the bread can expand. Unfortunately, the blade damages the bottom part of the bread, which is quite disappointing.
To see the baking process, Zojirushi uses a unique design with a large viewing window. You can see the dough is being kneaded. You also can see the dough rising and the baking process.
To control and operate the feature of this breadmaker, it has a control panel with an LCD screen. On the LCD screen, you can see all the information about this breadmaker. That includes the baking course selection or course you are using.
As for the courses, this bread maker also has two unique modes, the Whole Wheat and Multigrain course. Use Whole Wheat for the whole wheat bread baking process. The Multigrain course is suitable for baking bread that uses different combinations of flour, nuts, and seeds.

Zojirushi BB-CEC20 Review
BB-CEC20 bread maker has a solid inner cooking pan to bake a 2 lb. loaf of bread. On the bottom, you can see two blades that help you knead the dough thoroughly. Unfortunately, even though the blade works without any problem, the dough function has no timer, which is difficult to know when you should start baking after the dough expands/rises.
The control panel consists of an easy-to-use design, including a large LCD screen for reading the information without a problem. Inside, you can find 10 pre-programmed settings you can choose to bake different types of bread. Of course, you also can set the baking time and see the timer on this screen.
Zojirushi also uses a large viewing window on this product. You can see the whole process of the dough, from rising and expanding to the baking process.
To help you bake the bread easily, you can get all accessories you need inside the product’s package. It includes the measuring spoon, measuring cup, and the user manual with various bread recipes you can try. Moreover, the inner baking pan also uses non-stick material for easy cleaning and when you take the bread after it finishes the baking process.
