Yaber Pro Y9 is the upgraded version of a similar model that was launched previously. This newly upgraded projector can project a native resolution of 1080p. Then, Yaber paired it with powerful light with 450 ANSI power, equal to 15,000 Lumens for ultra-high brightness and 95% brighter than other projectors.

It produces a contrast ratio of 16000:1. Compared to other projectors, that number is 1.5 times brighter. This ability creates a clear image, eye-catching color, and a better viewing experience.

For user convenience, this projector has luminous touchscreen buttons. It looks nice, which improves the whole appearance of this projector. Moreover, you also get a portable bag to carry this projector around when you go to outdoor activities.

Inside the package, you also can find a 100-inch professional projector screen. It is easy to install in any place where you want to watch movies with this projector.

Unfortunately, we have a problem with the focus adjusting process. Even though it has a 4D keystone correction feature, we’ve found that it is still difficult and quite complex, especially for anyone who uses a portable projector like this for the first time. Yaber Y31 offers a better 4D keystone correction function, which allows you to adjust the screen in one click. Manually, you can do up to 50 degrees of vertical and horizontal adjustment, including the One-Click Restore feature and -25% zoom function. You also can use the auto function, but it can only work on vertical screen correction.

However, the screen adjustment feature seems unable to provide better focus, especially on the top and bottom sides. Therefore, the subtitles often look blurry in our experience using this projector for viewing a movie.

It supports 4K video and uses 1080p native resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). Then, it also uses powerful light that produces 9800 Lumens of brightness with a dynamic contrast ratio of 10000:1. This combination creates a sharp and detailed image in an HD format, which is 4 times clearer than the standard 720p projected video.

As for its audio system, you can find the built-in 3W dual stereo speakers on it. These speakers use SRS sound system to create a realistic sound experience without external speakers. Furthermore, it has the latest advanced cooling system with 3 fans that allow you to use it for hours without worrying about overheating.

The blur problem decides our choice between Yaber Pro Y9 and Yaber Y31 video projector. Thus, we choose Yaber Pro Y9 as the better video projector over Yaber Y31.
