Yaber Pro V8 vs Yaber V10 Review: Pros, Cons, & Verdict

We finally had time to try two video projector products from the Yaber brand last week. For this review, we tried two products with similar features to compare, Yaber Pro V8 vs Yaber V10. Here is our review, information about the features and performance, then the result of our comparison.

Yaber Pro V8 Review

Yaber uses powerful lighting with high illumination power (450 ANSI or 15000 Lumens) on this projector. This power should be enough to use inside the house in low-light conditions. However, you might have to reconsider using it outside in daylight as this power won’t be able to create a proper image under natural sunlight, even if it is indirect light.

This Pro V8 version also has the new Wi-Fi technology, which is the Wi-Fi 6. This will be the first video projector in 2023 that uses this technology. Thanks to this technology, you can enjoy video games smoothly and online streaming without buffering.

The native 1080p resolution creates a crystal clear projected image with 1920 x 1080 pixels display resolution on a large screen. It can display better detail and sharper images, suitable for high-speed movement video. Then, the enhanced contrast also brings out the details, especially in the dark and low-light scenes.

The upgraded parts also can be found in the color enhancement technology, where Pro V8 uses an 80% NTSC Color Gamut. It produces true color on the projected image. Unfortunately, the fan is a bit noisy, so it disturbs our time watching a movie through this projector.

Yaber Pro V8 Pros & Cons

Yaber V10 Review

For connectivity, Yaber equips V10 with a Bidirectional 5.1 Bluetooth and 5G/2.4Ghz Wi-Fi. This feature allows you to pair this video projector with a mobile device or any wireless speaker much easier. Moreover, the ultra-fast and stable Wi-Fi technology also is suitable for mirroring purposes and online streaming to create a smoother image.

The display feature has two main parts, which are the lighting with 15000 Lumens power and compatibility with 4K format video. The lighting is powerful, but it is similar to the previous product. It is only suitable for the indoor low-light environment.

The 4K support feature gives you a highly-detailed projected image. Furthermore, Yaber also uses 20000:1 high contrast to draw out the true color and detail of the video or images. And, for your convenience, this video projector uses YABER 2.0 Smart Engine technology with a user-friendly UI design.

As for the flaws, we found two of them. First, it seems that the Bluetooth feature, even though it is the latest technology, didn’t work as it should. When we connect it to a wireless speaker, the audio and video don’t synchronize well, so we have to connect it with a cable to fix it.

Yaber V10 Pros & Cons

Which is Better, Yaber Pro V8 or Yaber V10?

Both video projectors have weak lighting strength for outdoor daylight projection, which makes us disappointed. However, if we have to choose a video projector to buy, we would choose Yaber Pro V8. The not-in-sync problem is worse than the noisy fans.
