REDTIGER F7N vs REDTIGER F7N-PLUS Review: Pros & Cons
We have tried many dashcams for cars in the past and made a review of those products. This time, we finally got a chance to try two products from the F7N series by the REDTIGER brand. Let’s see which product is the better dashcam between REDTIGER F7N vs REDTIGER F7N-PLUS.
REDTIGER F7N Review
REDTIGER F7N offers a dual camera for the front and rear sides. The front camera can record 4K video, while the rear camera is only 1080p. Thanks to this high-resolution video, you can capture everything in higher detail, from the license plate, street sign, scenery, and more.
The camera lens also can capture a wide-angle view. It means you can get more area to cover when you ride your car in a crowded area. It is safer with this view because you have fewer blind spots.
REDTIGER app is available for operating this camera, from playing back, downloading, to even sharing the recorded videos. The camera also has a GPS function that records your location, speed, driving route, and more, which also is accessible via this app.
It also uses Starvis Sensor to create better night-vision recording, plus a 24-hour non-stop parking monitor. These two features will protect your car from problems when you leave it parked in the parking area.
Unfortunately, it does not have an SD card. Plus, you need to turn on the Wi-Fi manually to start the parking mode, which consumes more time. You do it every time you leave your car in the parking area.

- Starvis Sensor creates better low-light recording quality.

REDTIGER F7N-PLUS Review
Now, let’s see what kind of features the PLUS version of F7N has for you. Most features in this model are similar to the first F7N. However, we can spot some differences and know why this model is labeled as the PLUS version.
First of all, it uses two cameras that record the same resolution, a 4K front camera and a 1080p rear camera. However, the front camera has a wider-angle view (170-degree), and the rear camera has a 140-degree view. It means you have a wider area to record and see which reduces the blind spots.
It has a night vision feature with ultra large F1.5 aperture and 6 layers lens. This lens has HDR/WDR technology to produce a clear image under low light conditions.
To control the camera, you can use the REDTIGER app you can download and use via your mobile device. The app allows you to download, share, and edit recorded videos. The only flaw is the app can’t let you see the video instantly.
More importantly, this dashcam includes an SD Card in its bundle. You will get the 32GB TF card when you buy it. That means you can use the F7N-PLUS right away after you receive it.
