Sporting a single power button and multicolored status indicator, the portable scanner seems to oversimplify its design. But that doesn’t mean it’s translated to its features and capabilities.
Even with its compact built, Doxie manages to be incredibly efficient. As evidenced by its orange LED indicator pointing at 600 DPI resolution setting and green LED glows indicating the lower resolution of 300 DPI.
Its efficiency is generously displayed on its built-in memory and printing capabilities. Doxie Go is capable of scanning a business card-sized document to documents measured at about 8.5-inch by 15-inch. Featuring smooth and seamless scanning, all you have to do is turning on the device and feeding it a piece of document you wish to scan.
In a matter of 8-seconds, the scanned documents will be instantly stored either in its 500MB internal storage or your SD card. The built-in battery lasts for more than 100 scans and only needs less than an hour to recharge.

With 600 DPI optical resolution, the ScanSnap S1300i can produce 300 to 1,200 DPI images. The scanning speed is nothing short of spectacular. For low-resolution black and white documents, typically scans more than 24 pages and one high-resolution grayscale or colored text in 60-seconds.
Not only that, but the portable scanner is also capable of scanning numerous sizes of documents ranging from 1 x 1 inch to 8.5 x 14.1 inches. But perhaps, the feature that makes it a winner is the multiple feed capabilities. With a maximum of 20 lb, ten sheets of the document, doing a batch scan is painless.
