Atoto S8 Premium vs Atoto S8 Ultra Review: Pros and Cons
Changing your car stereo could bring many differences and improvements to your driving experiences. Here, we have chosen two products from the Atoto brand for your reference to buy a new car stereo to replace your old one. Let’s start our review of Atoto S8 Premium vs Atoto S8 Ultra.
Atoto S8 Premium Review
This product is one of the models in the 2nd generation of the Android car stereo from this brand. It uses the 12 nm manufacturing process, which has higher efficiency and lowers energy consumption. That matches with today’s concern regarding environmental safety.
One of the features that pique our interest is the automatic volume control. It uses a Speed Compensated Volume Control (SCVC) system, which can adjust the volume following the change in your vehicle speed.
It has a big screen, which is a 10.1-inch QLED display that produces 1280 x 720 of resolutions. This car stereo also uses LED-backlit LCD technology that improves the color effect, which is useful for displaying the movie or menu to operate the system.
Unfortunately, some users experience a problem when they operate the screen. The lower part of the screen doesn’t have high sensitivity like other areas, which makes the menu operation process a bit difficult.
As for its audio, it has a DSP/Pre-amplified feature, which is a built-in digital signal processor. This part creates a system that can provide a precise sound equalization, bass boost, bass filter, and signal delay. It is available in preset 9 EQ modes and 32 adjustable frequency bands.

Atoto S8 Ultra Review
S8 Ultra is another 2nd generation of a car stereo from this brand that also has various features you need to know. Among those many features, one of them has successfully attracted our attention, which is the processor. It uses the ARM Cortext Octa-Core Processor and the latest ATOTO AICE UI 11.0 that match very well with the Android system, in this case, the Android Q is used for this car stereo OS.
Those core specifications give you more freedom to customize the settings. Moreover, it also has various internet accesses, from Wi-Fi to 4G network. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t support 5G, which we believe ATOTO will add later in the future.
This car stereo also has a hand gesture sensor that you can use to control various functions of the device. You can adjust the system volume; skip tracks and others with this feature and save more time. It also uses the Speed Compensated Volume Control (SCVC) which automatically adjusts the system volume.
Compared to the first product, the S8 Ultra only uses a 7-inches QLED display with a similar resolution, 1280 x 720 pixels. Other than that, we can consider that both products have similar features, performances, and designs.
